Signature Sources
Most serious systems reveal themselves through some combination of:
- heat
- radiation
- electromagnetic emissions
- wake effects or field disturbances
- communications leakage
- predictable motion patterns
What Signature Management Tries To Do
- suppress emissions
- redirect or diffuse detectable output
- mimic harmless or ordinary objects
- create false targets
- exploit sensor blind spots and relay gaps
Why Stealth Still Matters
